ARDH Collective was born from a question: how can we build with what the land already provides?

Its origin lies in the thesis I developed with Alyina Ahmed during the Emergent Technologies and Design master’s programme at the Architectural Association in London. We investigated the use of desert sand in construction, drawing on a shared question and on her life experience in the United Arab Emirates.

Today we run ARDH together with Alyina and Alhaan Ahmed. From Dubai, we transform local resources and discarded materials into surfaces and components for architecture, interiors and objects, seeking to reduce their environmental impact.

DuneCrete uses desert sand in a concrete with a lower cement content, replacing imported sand and reducing transport-related emissions. DuneBlock applies this material to a modular system that explores depth, light and shadow. DateForm turns discarded date seeds into a solid surface with a warm, tactile character.

Each development seeks a material expression rooted in its place of origin, where performance, beauty and environmental responsibility are part of a single pursuit.
